When installing Aire-Wave in 2005 I realized time as a possible element of my work. The light that fell through the skylights created continuously changing drawings on the curved semi-transparent surface of the three waves.

During a residency on Spurn Point on the Holderness coast (2008) I created a performance with the incoming tide as the protagonist. Two video sculptures resulted, developed in close co-operation with Jo Millett, Seascape and Buoy.

"Weaving and video, two seemingly contrasting techniques, have been combined to reveal a fascinating affinity. Interlacing lines reflect a mesmerising and binary nature of weaving that is believed to have led to the development of cyberspace and a digital age of immateriality."
